Volcano Exploration
The Voyager class recently delved into the letter "V" with an exciting journey into the world of volcanoes. They discovered how volcanoes are formed, the process of magma formation, and even created their own volcano replicas. Additionally, they engaged in a delightful three-part sensory bin activity.
Art Unit Study- Poetry and Collage Combined
In one of our Art unit studies, students delved into the construction of sonnet-style poems. They had the choice to pick a verse of poetry that moved them, followed by the assignment to create a collage inspired by that chosen verse.
Ocean Unit Study- Sharks
The Explorers class embarked on an adventure to learn about the formidable ocean dwellers: SHARKS! It was an enjoyable day brimming with the discovery of new facts and a STEM project designed to safeguard their "boats" from the sharks!
Art Unit Study- Culinary Arts!
This week, our student art unit delved into the culinary arts. We explored the roles of pastry chefs, chocolatiers, and confectioners, among others. The students had the opportunity to frost, adorn, and enjoy their own personal cakes. Following that, they decorated a "faux" cake using acrylic paints and a variety of polymer clay embellishments.

love! What a fun day our Voyagers had while matching
upper and lower case alphabet letters, creating collage
style leaves, and reading all about the letter "L"
